Behind space*TV is Lorne Gertner, a builder who has spent close to fifty years arriving early, seeing where culture is headed before the rest of the market catches up, and building the brand that defines it once everyone else shows up. An architect by training, he learned to treat experience and identity as the product, and carried that instinct across fashion, design, and the cultural institutions of a city, including Toronto Fashion Week and brands that became part of the zeitgeist before their categories even existed.
